Short description:
On the occasion of the visit of the EUSDR European Coordinator on the behalf of the European Commission, Mr. Marco ONIDA (Head of Unit, DG REGIO), with the kind support of the Senate of Romania and of the Romanian Academy, we will organise a new Reunion of the Working Groups established by CLDR Romania and of other related Danube stakeholders.
This new project takes place one year after the official launching of the CLDR Association, at the Senate of Romania.
The deployment of the event is co-chaired by Senator Octavian MOTOC, Member of the European Affairs Committee of the Senate of Romania and it enjoys of the kind support of the MPs Group of the national Parliaments and of the European Parliament in favour of EUSDR implementation (recently established in Belgrade)

“Danubian Young Leaders Academy”
- The set-up of the Inter-Academic Cooperation Centre in favour of the involvement of the young generation in as much as possible Danubian projects and business. This event combines information and training presentations aimed to instruct and select the young experts’ groups at sub-regional level (Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia) regarding the establishing of multinational consortia of partners and the implementation of future projects under the aegis of EUSDR with a focus on a better valuation of the natural, economic, social and human capital.
- The deepening of the four pillars and the 11 priority areas of the strategy in order to create appropriate expertise of the young experts for the implementation of targets and actions designed by the European Commission and the 14 Member States for each axis.
- Increasing the role of universities and clusters, as the motor of European innovation, through transposing the recommendation of the European Commission concerning the “European Industrial Renaissance” in the Danubian macro-regional context
- Awarding the Certificates and Networking Session

Selection criteria: young people (20 – 40 years old), who can demonstrate their personal interest in Danubian studies and affairs.
