The Danube Day 2018 in Bucharest

~ Public debate on the priorities of Romania’s EUSDR Presidency ~

We are pleased to inform you that the International Danube Day was celebrated in Bucharest, on the 28th of June 2018, at the HQ of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through a Public Consultation regarding the establishing of main Romanian priorities, initiatives and events to be proposed by the civil society for the period of Romania’s EUSDR Presidency (October 2018-October 2019).

The debate was honored by Mr. Victor NEGRESCU, Minister of European Affairs. The moderation of the reunion was ensured by the Mr. Sever AVRAM, Danube Regional Commissioner / Executive President of EUROLINK-House of Europe / CLDR Romania Association.

A set of working proposals and initiatives were distributed to participants and succesfully debated during the event. Also an Executive Summary was formulated and disseminated. Leading media organisations were present: Romanian Television Public Channel, TVH, National Press Agency AGERPRES, Radio Romania Public Channel.

In the second part of the event, the Youth & Students Department of CLDR Association awarded the Diplomas of Excellency for promoting the European pro-active citizenship in Romania to young personalities from all over the country.

The project was realized in cooperation with the Centre Européen Robert Schuman in Scy-Chazelles (France) and with the financial support of the European Program ‘Europe for citizens’.

Consultare privind prioritățile societății civile în contextul preluării Președinției SUERD

Marcarea anuală a Zilei Internaționale a Dunării coincide, în acest an, cu intensificarea pregătirilor privind preluarea Președinției Strategiei UE pentru Regiunea Dunării (SUERD), cu ocazia Forumului ce va avea loc la Sofia în luna octombrie 2018. Întrucât conform comunicării MAE, ca și Coordonator Național SUERD, obiectivul național central va consta în identificarea de noi piețe de desfacere sau în atragerea de know-how către mediul de afaceri autohton, tema principală aleasă se referă la promovarea cooperării prin utilizarea clusterelor pentru crearea de lanțuri valorice umane și economice.
